LA River Rising: Kayaking is back for another summer…

Kayaking is back for another summer on the LA River and this year there’ll be 2,000 tickets sold (last year it was just 260) with trips available three times a day, five days a week (every day except Wednesday and Sunday). Tours will take you down a two-mile stretch in the Valley and there’s talk of a future route through the Glendale Narrows. [KCET, image via]
